you mean, skin?

What an absolutely terrifying addition to my post. Thank you.

A friend of mine who worked leather had this leather conditioner that he used for sunburn that he swore worked fantastically.  My face must have displayed my disbelief.  He just shrugged and said: ‘skin is just leather waiting to happen’.

“Skin is just leather waiting to happen.”

Look, sometimes murders of crows will blacken the sky at your coming and ravening wolves are gonna follow in your wake, and you’re just gonna have to deal with that, and everybody else in the Costco is just gonna have to deal too

The New Zealand Government just lifted the cap on the number of gender reassignment surgeries they will fund each year!

I never thought I would see this happen!

I feel it’s important to note that ‘lift the cap’ here means we have gone from ‘technically four surgeries can be funded every two years but in practice fewer are because there’s no MTF surgeon working in NZ anymore’ to ‘a MINIMUM of four surgeries MUST be funded every two years and there is no upper cap on the number’. Which is HUGE. The article notes half as many people have been referred for surgery in the last three months, since the cap was removed, as had received it in the last fourteen years
