Katchoo’s going to have a gallery showing of her paintings and has decided to paint something closer to her heart. Francine agrees to sit for her and this is her reaction on seeing the initial work. While I’ve never posed for a painting, I (and I believe many women) have had this moment, where they see an image of themselves and they can’t believe that’s them; it doesn’t fit at all with the (poor) image they have of themselves.
For me, this is one of many moments in SiP that brings the girls back to earth and makes them so relatable. Their story might get super crazy, but they remain (and especially Francine) very human throughout it all.
