Anne Frank House Bans Jewish Employee From Wearing Kippah

Barry Vingerling, 25, was “was banned by the Anne Frank House as employees were not allowed to wear Jewish symbols.”

It is so fucking vile that a museum dedicated to a little girl who died with her family because of violent antisemitism won’t even let a Jewish man wear a kippah. This museum, wear Vingerling should have felt safe to express himself and his faith, is perpetuating in the same kind of hate that it should be fighting against.

THIS IS OKAY FOR GOYIM TO REBLOG

I chocked on my tea when I saw this. And being Dutch, I dug around a little on google, and asked some friends.
And after six months of meetings and whatnot, the organisation has decided that Barry cán wear his Kippah to work. Also, a cross pendant and a head-scarf are now also allowed for employees to wear. The link I’ll post below, but it will be in Dutch. Google translate will help here. Though in short, the organisation that runs Anne Frank House argues that they were worried that religious items, being worn by employees, would affect their neutrality in their programs/education against antisemitism. Though they now have decided it doesn’t affect their neutrality.

This leaves a very bitter, and strange aftertaste…
